DAVE

Naturally one of our owners has the leading hand around the shop! Dave has over 15 years of experience in the tattoo field, his portriats and award winning black and grey work are something to sought after. A well rounded and diverse artist, Dave can accomodate all styles including tattoo cover-ups and repair. Dave will give you a piece to be proud of.

His dedication to his art had led him to work in many shops in his quests to learn from some of the best artists in Edmotnon. Easily one of the busiest in the shop, Dave books up fast. Get in touch to arrange his next masterpiece.

MIKE

Mike has been drawing since he could hold a pencil. This habit eventually progressed to pens, paint and tattoo machines. Bright colors, realism and bold design keep him excited about making a variety of art. Mike has been tattooing professionally for 4 years. His first works were done under the mentorship of Dustin Poole of Studio Phi in Calgary, Alberta. Back in Edmonton he has sought to further develop his craft and pursue new and interesting projects here at Pure Artistry.

Mike is always up for a challenge and enjoys pushing the boundaries of tattoo design. Weather it be a new project, big or small or integration with existing work he is always interested in creating art that will last a lifetime. TAMERA

Tamera Newton has been tattooing for 8 years. She enjoys creating pieces that have a mystical, spiritual and mythological quality. Excelling at tattoos that include sacred geometry, mandalas, symmetry and symbols, she likes to explore her creativity through combining the clients vision with her own style and flair. When not tattooing Tamera is a professional artist, art therapy workshop facilitator and teacher. She is involved in a number of festivals and local events including Astral Harvest and Zion Noiz where she is a live performance painter. Tamera is also passionate about astrology and divination and loves to read tarot cards for clients. ZEF

Zef was raised around art all his life and was introduced to tattooing just after his daughter was born. A family member gave him the idea after seeing his artwork. He picked up a machine at the age of 20 and hasn’t put it down since. He loves trash polka and specializes in neo traditional style, but also works great with black and grey.
